Understanding Screen Resolution
What is Resolution?
Resolution refers to the number of individual pixels that make up the image on your screen. It is usually expressed as 'Width x Height'. Common resolutions include 1920x1080 (Full HD) and 3840x2160 (4K UHD).
The Importance of Aspect Ratio
Aspect ratio is the proportional relationship between a display's width and its height. Most modern monitors use 16:9, but ultrawide monitors often use 21:9 or 32:9 for a more immersive field of view.
