Use your phone camera to detect PWM flickering on your screen
PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) rapidly turns the display backlight on and off to control brightness. At low frequencies, this can cause visible flickering that leads to eye strain for sensitive users.
DC (Direct Current) dimming reduces brightness by lowering the actual voltage to the backlight. This eliminates flickering entirely but may affect color accuracy at very low brightness levels.
